Tanning beds contain fluorescent lamps that give off ultraviolet (UV) light. Lamps must be recycled and are accepted at household hazardous waste collection site for free.

Place lights in their original packaging to prevent breaking. If you no longer have the packaging, cushion the lights between blankets. Do not tape lights together.
