Disposal

Water softeners and brine tanks do not contain hazardous materials. They may be disposed of in the trash.

You may also place small amounts of water softener salt in the trash. For large amounts of salt, contact your trash hauler or bring it to one of the disposal companies listed below. Call to verify items accepted, hours and fees.
