Modified Fieldhouse Procedures

Ramsey County Parks & Recreation aims to provide the best experience for all fieldhouse users while still meeting public health best practices to keep all patrons of the turf fieldhouse safe.

COVID-19 policies have been developed with recommendations and guidelines from the executive orders issued by Governor Walz, the Minnesota Department of Health's Guidelines for Youth and Adult Sports, and the Minnesota Department of Education for high school activities.

Updated Jan. 19, 2022.

General requirements and guidelines

  • Anyone with symptoms of illness or who have family members with symptoms of illness, has tested positive for COVID-19, or has been exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19, should stay home and not participate in team activities. CDC and Minnesota Department of Health rules and guidelines for self-quarantine should be followed.
  • Face coverings/face masks must be worn inside Ramsey County facilities, including lobby areas, restrooms, bleachers, seating areas and common areas by all participants, coaches/instructors, volunteers and spectators at all times.
    • Individual teams or associations are not subject to the face covering/mask policy during their rental time in their rental space (which may include the rink, locker rooms and/or a turf field). Wearing face coverings or masks is still highly recommended during rental times. Players, coaches, instructors and volunteers must still wear face coverings or masks while entering and exiting the arenas and in all common spaces.
  • We recommend athletes, coaches/instructors and spectators limit their time inside the facility and participants arrive partially dressed ready to play when possible.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required for entry at this time.

It is recommended that all athletes, coaches/instructors, volunteers and spectators self-screen at home prior to entry into the fieldhouse. We recommend using the CDC Coronavirus Self-Checker.
