Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) undertook a large rehabilitation project for the Battle Creek regional sewer system in Saint Paul. The project impacted the existing Battle Creek and trail corridor in the southwest corner of Battle Creek Regional Park. Work activities completed by MCES included sewer lining, manhole replacement, along with operational and safety improvements. The MCES sanitary sewer project began in October 2020 and work completed in October 2021.
