Board proclaims April 1-7 Public Health Week

The board of commissioners proclaimed April 1-7 as Public Health Week in Ramsey County.

The goal of National Public Health Week is to recognize the contributions of public health in improving the health of all people and achieving racial and health equity. The theme for this year is "Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health."

Commissioner Moran read the proclamation with staff from Saint Paul - Ramsey County Public Health offering remarks.

Attend On My Terms reporting program for sexual violence on April 5 and hear from Megan Rae, SOS Legal Services Coordinator, presenting about On My Terms, a reporting program for adult victims of sexual violence within Ramsey County.
