Board proclaims April 2023 as National County Government Month
Ramsey County joins the National Association of Counties in proclaiming April 2023 as National County Government Month.
The nation’s 3,069 counties serve more than 330 million residents by providing essential services to create healthy, safe and vibrant communities. Counties fulfill a vast range of responsibilities and deliver services that touch nearly every aspect of residents' lives.
The board of commissioners encourage all county officials, employees, schools and residents to recognize the role of county government in the community.
