Parks & Recreation unveils new park signage
On Saturday, June 3, Ramsey County Parks & Recreation and the Metropolitan Council celebrates new and welcoming art signs for park users. The artwork was designed and created by five artists who represent different racial and ethnic backgrounds. The goal is to bring a unique and vibrant lens to the traditional park sign, aligning with Ramsey County's 21st Century Park Vision and strategic priority, to create a sense of belonging for all and advance racial equity and inclusion.
The event is all ages and will include a brief program followed by a family-friendly afternoon of food, art, nature activities, crafts, button-making and more.
