September is National Preparedness Month

September is National Preparedness Month and serves as a time for everyone to take actions to prepare for the types of emergencies that could affect our region. The 2023 theme for National Preparedness Month is "Take Control in 1, 2, 3." The campaign will focus on preparing older adults for disasters, specifically older adults from communities that are disproportionally impacted by the all-hazard events, which continue to threaten the nation.

Ramsey County Emergency Management & Homeland Security (EMHS) has information available to help you learn about local dangers and prepare for a disaster.
