Come to the free paper shredding event at the Environmental Center on Friday, Sept. 5 from 11 a.m. -4 p.m. Ramsey County residents can bring up to three boxes of paper (about 50 pounds) to shred. Shred Right will shred all papers onsite and recycle them.
Accepted: Staples and paperclips attached to paper are okay. They do not have to be removed.
NOT Accepted: Three-ring binders, plastic bags, and large, metal binder clips are not accepted with papers to be shredded.
Drop off Procedures
- Follow signs at the Environmental Center to find the event.
- Show proof of Ramsey County residency.
- Stage paper in the trunk, cargo bed or rear of vehicle for easy access.
- Remain in your vehicle while staff unload.
The event may end early if the trucks get filled before 4 p.m.
Do not recycle shredded paper at home. Shredded paper is too small to get sorted at recycling facilities. Learn where to shred and recycle confidential papers.
