Special elections will be held for the House District 40B representative and District 3 County Commissioner.

House District 40B Special Election
- Election Day: Jan. 28
- Absentee Voting: Available by mail or in person at the Ramsey County Plato Building (90 W. Plato Blvd.).
- Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 25, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
District 40B includes parts of Roseville and Shoreview.
District 3 County Commissioner Special Election
- Election Day: Feb. 11
- Absentee Voting: Available by mail or in person at the Ramsey County Plato Building (90 W. Plato Blvd.).
- Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 8, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
District 3 County Commissioner serves residents of the following communities: Falcon Heights and the Saint Paul neighborhoods of Payne/Phalen, North End/South Como, Como Park, Frogtown, Hamline-Midway and St. Anthony Park.
