Winter Warming Spaces Closing Soon

Ramsey County’s Winter Warming Spaces will close their doors in two weeks. The last night the overnight spaces will be open is March 31.

While this winter has been mild, the spaces have still been used nearly 10,000 times since mid-December, providing critical overnight relief for unsheltered residents. The Phalen Activity Center and Newell Park Building locations continue to see strong demand, averaging more than 40 drop-ins per night.

As a reminder, Winter Warming Spaces are open daily from 9 p.m.-7 a.m., offering seating, blankets, warm drinks, and snacks. Free transportation is available by calling 651-266-1035.
