Request county support for community events
Ramsey County works to actively engage our community in authentic, meaningful and inclusive ways. One way the county will achieve this is by supporting events and initiatives that meet the needs of our community and advance our strategic priorities. External entities can request support for their events and initiatives.
External entities include but are not limited to:
- Other local governments.
- Non-profit organizations.
- Private businesses.
- Community organizations.
- Contractors or individuals.

Support will vary depending on the department or division that receives the request. Your event information will be shared with the appropriate county departments as we collaborate across the organization.
County staff are following a new county support for external events policy to increase consistency and improve coordination when the county receives requests to support community events. Additionally, the policy establishes a criterion to ensure county resources are allocated in ways that are equitable and align with our mission, vision, goals, values and strategic priorities.
