The surface layer on Hugo Road between Park Avenue and County Road J in White Bear Township will be removed and replaced with new, smooth pavement.
The road will be restriped with two 11-foot through lanes and gravel shoulders will be added to the road. Lane widths currently vary throughout this stretch of Hugo Road; this project will create standardized lanes throughout the project area. Parking will only be permitted in designated areas.
Land surveying crews will be working in the project area before, during and immediately after construction.
There will be no cost to property owners for this project.
