This notice is to announce the beginning of a thirty-day public comment period of a draft of the Ramsey County portion of the Dakota County Consortium’s 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and FY2025 Annual Action Plan. The comment period for the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and FY2025 Annual Action Plan will run from March 31, 2025 – May 1, 2025. The public hearing will be held in person on April 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Roseville Library in the Community Program Room: 2180 Hamline Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113. The 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and FY2025 Annual Action Plan will be considered by the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority on May 6, 2025, immediately following the County Board meeting in the Council Chambers, 15 West Kellogg Boulevard, Saint Paul. The meeting broadcast will be available online and linked via https://ramseycountymn.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx.
The purpose of the public comment period and hearing is to receive comments from the general public concerning the proposed housing and community development needs and objectives of Ramsey County and the proposed use of FY2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funding. Proposed funding amounts for projects are listed as percentages in case the actual CDBG or HOME entitlement award amounts increase or decrease prior to the start of the fiscal year. All percentages will remain the same regardless of the actual entitlement amount.
