Ramsey County: A Start by Believing Community
Start by Believing is an initiative to change how everyone responds to survivors of sexual violence. Partnering with community groups and inspired by the national Start by Believing campaign, the Ramsey County Attorney's Office and Saint Paul - Ramsey County Public Health aim to improve prevention and responses to sexual violence victims. When victims encounter compassionate responses, they heal faster and it opens doors for others to report, giving the criminal justice system a chance to hold perpetrators accountable.
