Special events or structures on lakes and rivers
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office issues permits for special events and other recreational activities on waterways throughout Ramsey County. This includes special events such as fishing contests, boat races and water ski exhibitions as well as temporary structures such as swim rafts, water ski jumps and private swimming areas.
