While most individual data on youth in the justice system is private under Minnesota law, we compile aggregate-level data to understand the outcomes we achieve in the juvenile justice system and any disproportionate impact our decisions may have on particular groups of youth as compared to others. Below are the analyses we have completed to understand which youth (by age, race, and gender) are coming into the justice system for which types of behaviors and how successful our diversion efforts have been, so we can continue to refine our practices to help youth succeed in life.
Comprehensive analyses of juvenile cases at each decision point disaggregated by race, age, and gender.
