The Ramsey County Adult Detention Center contracts with Securus Technologies to provide inmate phone services. To start receiving phone calls from an inmate, please call Securus at 1-800-844-6591 or visit www.securustech.net.

Inmates are allowed outgoing calls only. Adult Detention Center staff cannot take phone messages for inmates. For a fee, you may leave a voicemail for an inmate in custody by dialing 651-266-9350 and select option #2 or by dialing (866) 949-4574 and following the prompts. There is a $1.99 charge for this service provided by Securus Technologies.

All non-privileged inmate phone calls are subject to monitoring and recording.

If you do not wish to receive phone calls from inmates in the Adult Detention Center, or you are having problems receiving phone calls, please contact Securus at 1-800-844-6591.

Mail

Inmates in the Adult Detention Center may send and receive mail via the United States Postal Service. All mail, except for privileged mail, received by the facility for inmates is opened and inspected for money, contraband, and unacceptable content. All incoming and outgoing non-privileged mail is subject to being read for safety and security purposes. Inmate to inmate mail is not allowed. It may take an additional 2-3 business days for facility processing of mail.

Mail received on or after the release date will be forwarded to the last address on record with the Adult Detention Center. If a forwarding address is not available, mail will be returned to the sender.

Packages

Inmates are not allowed to receive packages. Packages will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Any mail not sent via the United States Postal Service will be returned.
