Child and Teen Checkups

A Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) is a full wellness checkup. It is available for any person who is under the age of 21 and eligible for Medical Assistance.
Health check-ups
It is recommended that children have check-ups at the following ages.
- 2 weeks.
- 2, 4 and 6 months.
- 9, 12 and 15 months.
- 18, 24 and 30 months.
- Every year from age 3 through 20 years.
Dental check-ups
It is recommended to have dental check-ups at the following ages.
- At 1st tooth or 12 months old.
- Then every 6 months (2 times per year).

- Regular checkups help keep children, teens, and young adults healthy.
- Health and dental problems can be found and treated early.
- Parents and children can get information about healthy lifestyles.
- Child can get regular checkups at the dentist.
- Teens and young adults can learn to take charge of their own health, with family support.

Community
