New for 2024

Each individual camper can register for a maximum of three camps to allow more participants a chance to engage in our day camp program.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email upon registration. Additional information detailing what to bring, wear and other important information will be emailed two weeks prior to the start of the camp week.

Scholarships

Limited scholarship opportunities are available for Ramsey County residents. Please call prior to June 1 for further information.

Photographs

Your registration implies permission to use photographs of your child(ren) for Tamarack Nature Center promotional purposes. If you do not want your child photographed, please call 651-266-0360.

Cancellations and refunds

All cancellations and transfers must be made at least two weeks before the start of camp. The registration fee will be refunded, minus a 20% fee. Registered campers may transfer to an available camp for a $10 processing fee. Registration may not be transferred between campers. Refunds will not be issued within two weeks of the start date of camp.

If Tamarack Nature Center must cancel a program, a full refund will be issued.

Weather

Nature doesn’t stop when it rains and neither do we! Some of our best memories are shared during those unexpected moments. However, certain activities may be canceled due to severe weather and children will be sheltered inside if necessary.

Special needs

Please make appropriate notes on the registration form if your camper has special needs due to allergies, disabilities or health concerns. We can accommodate many concerns with advance notice. If you have any questions, please contact our camp coordinator.

If your camper requires Epinephrine and/or Benadryl please download the release form below and have your physician complete it and return it to Tamarack Nature Center two weeks before the first camp start date. Epinepherin/Benadryl release (PDF)

Campers who require staff administration of a medication other than Epinephrine or Benadryl should complete the medication consent form below and send it to the camp coordinator before the first day of camp or it can be returned to the summer naturalist on the first day of camp. Medication Consent (PDF)
