Monday — Friday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Mental Health Urgent Care provides service to residents of Ramsey County who are experiencing a mental health or chemical health crisis. Walk-in services include access to an onsite team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and trained peer support staff that provide person-centered, recovery-focused care.

The Mental Health Urgent Care offers an alternative to visiting the emergency room during a mental health crisis. You can expect excellent, professional service in a caring, supportive environment.

Phone support is available 24/7 and mobile crisis teams are available to meet you at your home, school, workplace or in the community.

If you are in crisis, calls are answered 24/7/365.

Services

The following mental health services are available:

  • 24/7 crisis phone support.
  • Mental health crisis assessment.
  • Access to crisis psychiatry as eligible.
  • Chemical health screening.
  • Peer support.
  • Crisis stabilization services.
  • Family education and support.
  • Referral to community resources.

Cost

There is a fee for Mental Health Urgent Care services. Services are billed to insurance providers when available. A variety of payment options are available including an income-based sliding fee scale.
