The Policy & Planning division provides strategic support to county leadership and in-depth research and analysis support for county operations. The team coordinates, convenes and leads multi-sector and multi-department projects that help align county practices with the organization's vision, mission and goals. It also houses government relations.
The Policy & Planning team provides support for countywide strategic alignment and leads the county’s strategic planning process and ongoing operation of the performance management system. The team supports both development and review of departmental and countywide policies.
Government relations
Government relations coordinates the county’s work with federal, state, and local governments, fostering constructive partnerships and platforms that further positions established by the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners.
