RiversEdge is a nearly five-acre site located at the southwest intersection of Wabasha St. and Kellogg Blvd., overlooking the Mississippi River in downtown Saint Paul.

After deconstructing the former Adult Detention Center and Ramsey County Government Center West buildings to prepare the site for new development, Ramsey County entered into a preliminary development agreement with AECOMThe proposed $800 million development called RiversEdge with four new towers and a nine-acre urban park will be a transformational project for our region, especially as we move into economic recovery. The project as a whole – the interwoven pieces of public park and office space along with housing – is needed to position the city as a place where Minnesotans want to stay and where professionals from around the country want to move to. At full build-out, the proposed private development would bolster and diversify the county, city and school tax base, generating an estimated $15 million in annual property tax revenue.

Ramsey County has entered into a preliminary development agreement with AECOM. Over the last year, significant progress has been with nearby stakeholders, including railroad and utility providers and other local communities.
