Davant Coppage

At approximately 3:15 am on August 18, police responded to a 9-1-1 call for two brothers fighting on the 2200 block of Lower Afton Road, Saint Paul. When police arrived, they found Davant Coppage unresponsive with multiple stab wounds. Life saving measures were attempted but Davant was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eric Young admitted to police that he was fighting with his brother Davant but denied stabbing him. The mother who was home at the time told police that she saw Eric with a knife during the altercation. Police also found a knife with blood on it at the scene of the crime. Eric was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing his brother Davant.
