Zion Chea

At approximately 11 am on April 23, paramedics responded to a 9-1-1 call for a 4 week old baby, Zion Chea, who was unconscious and had a fever of 103 degrees. The paramedics brought Zion to the hospital where he later died. An autopsy revealed several internal injuries caused by blunt force trauma.

When investigators spoke to the parents of Zion the father, Orancy Chea, admitted to causing the injuries. Orancy said he became frustrated when Zion wouldn’t stop crying so he threw him to the floor.
